Nutrition facts for restaurant food

The label your dinner never had.

We lab-test restaurant dishes and publish the facts, so your AI can find the plates that fit your body.

Your bloodwork and gut test stay with your assistant. Meal Panel only publishes what's in the food.

The gap

Every granola bar has a label. Your $34 entrée doesn't.

Packaged food has carried a Nutrition Facts label since 1994. Restaurant food never has. Chains post calories, usually worked out from recipes and databases. Most restaurants post nothing.

56%

of US food spending now goes to food away from home.

How it works

Measured, not estimated.

  1. 01

    We buy the plates.

Like any guest. 10 to 12 portions over at least two days, so no kitchen can cook a special one for us.

  2. 02

    A lab measures them.

An ISO 17025 accredited lab measures calories, protein, fats, carbs, fiber, sugars, sodium, iron and more. We publish the average and the range.

  3. 03

    Your AI reads the panel.

Each dish gets a Meal Panel on the menu and in a signed feed AI assistants trust. Your assistant highlights what matters for you.

Both sides of the table

Diners eat what fits. Restaurants get picked.

For diners

Your numbers, matched to real food.

Your assistant already has your gut test and your labs. Now it knows what's on the plate.

Questions

The fine print.

Does Meal Panel see my health data?
No. Your gut test, labs and goals stay with your assistant. Meal Panel only publishes what's in each dish, and your assistant does the matching on your side.
Does the mark mean a dish is healthy?
No. It means the numbers are real. What fits you depends on you, your doctor and your goals.
How often are dishes retested?
At least once a year, after any change to the recipe, portion or main supplier, and at random every quarter.
Can a restaurant pay to pass?
No. The fee is the same whatever the results show, and restaurants never choose the lab or the plates we test.
Does it cover allergens?
No. Meal Panel measures nutrition. Always tell the restaurant about allergies.
